TUMBLELEAF Red Berry Clay Mask

Soothe + brighten with berry tea and mineral-rich clay.

Here’s a quick, one-off face mask that feels like a treat but takes less than 10 minutes to make using our TUMBLELEAF Red Berry tea and a scoop of purple or pink clay to create a gentle, glow-boosting mask that’s perfect for tired, dry, or just “meh” skin.

It’s one of those lovely crossover recipes — you brew a cup of tea, drink most of it, and save a little for your face.

What It Does

  • Gently brightens with hibiscus and berry antioxidants
  • Soothes with rosehip and red fruit botanicals
  • Detoxifies with mineral-rich clay
  • Smells divine (subtle, fruity, calming)

You’ll Need

  • 1 teaspoon TUMBLELEAF Red Berry tea
  • 2–3 tablespoons just-boiled water
  • 1 teaspoon pink or purple clay (or white kaolin for sensitive skin)
  • Optional: a drop of honey or aloe gel for extra hydration

How To Make It

  1. Brew your tea
Steep 1 tsp of TUMBLELEAF Red Berry tea in hot water (cover your cup!) for 5–10 minutes. You’ll only need a teaspoon or two of the liquid...the rest is yours to sip.
  2. Mix the mask
In a small bowl, add 1 tsp of clay. Slowly stir in a few drops of your tea infusion until it forms a smooth paste. Add a tiny drop of honey or aloe if using, or a drop of Lavender essential oil.
  3. Apply to clean skin
Use fingers or a brush to spread evenly across your face, avoiding eyes and lips.
  4. Relax for 5–10 minutes
Don’t let it dry to cracking... mist or pat water on if needed.

Rinse & glow

Gently rinse off with warm water and a soft cloth. Follow with balm or serum.

Notes

  • This mask is best made fresh and used straight away (because of the water content).
  • A patch test is always a good idea if your skin is sensitive.
  • Works well as a gentle décolletage or shoulder mask too.

Tumbleseed Tip: Brew double the tea and pop it in the fridge, you’ll have iced tea and a fresh mask base ready to go.
